A lot of Engine manufactures restrict the HP output of their engines via the ECU software, we can often unlock that restriction and add a bit more power.
Example: A 75hp outboard can be a detuned 90hp engine, therefore we can unlock the restriction and add some power. This can offer huge savings of the cost of the higher HP variant engine.
How would I get marine engine Remapped?
All you would need to do is remove the ECU from your vessel & post it to us.
How long will it take to get the ECU back?
Typically we will do our best to get your ECU remapped and posted back to you the same day, but please allow 2 working days to allow for busy periods.
Is a Remap Safe for my Engine?
In short yes, as long as the engine is healthy and well serviced, there will be no detrimental effects, as a lot of the engines are detuned from the factory they are more than capable of the increased power & performance.
